Direct Debit
Set and forget with automatic repayments from your bank account.
To change your repayment amount, frequency, or payment date, call us on 0800 422 898 (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 6:30 pm NZST). Make any changes before your first repayment to avoid delays.
To cancel or suspend your direct debit:
- Fill out the Direct Debit Cancellation/Suspension form, or
- Call us on 0800 422 898
Remember:
- Suspending or cancelling your direct debit does not cancel your loan contract. If your contract is still active, you must arrange another way to make your repayments.
- If you temporarily suspend your direct debit, you can reinstate it later by contacting us - no need to complete a new form.
- If you cancel your direct debit, you’ll need to submit a new direct debit request form if you wish to reinstate it again.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my statement show a 'Monthly Repayment' when I pay weekly/fortnightly?
Your contract shows the monthly minimum, but you can split this into weekly or fortnightly repayments from your nominated account.
Where can I find my loan details?
All your key loan info – balance, payment due dates, and interest rate – is available in the Latitude Gem Finance Servicing Portal.
What does 'Maturity Date' mean?
This is the date in your loan contract that your loan is required to be paid off in full. This date does not change if the loan is paid off early or late.
Will my interest rate change?

Fixed Rate Loans: Your interest rate stays the same for the life of the loan.

Variable Rate Loans: Your interest rate can change over time.

My due date is the 31st, but some months don’t have 31 days – what now?
The due date is based on the date the loan was opened. If the date is greater than the total days in that month, your due date will be the last day of that month.
Will I be charged a fee for making extra payments?
You can make extra payments whenever and however you like to save on interest with no fees.
