If your Gem card account is overdue for more than 30 days, you can make a payment using your debit card via the Latitude Service Centre or App.
To make a payment with your debit card:
- Go to Make a Payment.
- Select or enter the amount you'd like to pay.
- Choose your payment method:
- Use a saved debit card, or
- Select Set up debit card and follow the prompts to add a new one.
You can also save or update your card for future use.
What you need to know:
- Account status: You won’t be able to use a debit card if your account has not been overdue for more than 30 days. In that case, please use other payment options.
- Payment limits: You can pay between $10 to $5,000 per transaction. For amounts over $5,000, use alternative payment options.
- Processing times: Debit card payments can take 1 - 2 business days to settle, depending on your bank. However, your Available Balance updates almost straight away.
- Accepted cards: You can only use local debit cards - no international debit cards, credit cards or EFTPOS accepted.
- Manage your cards: Go to Make a Payment to view, update or remove your saved debit cards.
